Role Overview
At Argentine Experience, every class is hands-on, every recipe tells a story, and your craft becomes the bridge to our culture. We’re looking for a Chef Instructor to lead intimate cooking classes for travelers from around the world—teaching techniques, shaping flavors, and bringing Argentine traditions to life.
What You’ll Do
Lead step-by-step instruction for small groups (empanadas, chipá, and more), demonstrating technique and coaching guests at their stations.


Create a warm, fun, and welcoming environment for guests of all ages and backgrounds.


Own the culinary run-of-show: mise en place, timing, pacing, and plating so the class flows naturally and stays fun.


Tell the story behind the food—ingredients, regions, producers, and traditions—turning recipes into culture.


Quality & safety first: uphold hygiene, temperature controls, cross-contamination prevention, and spotless workstations.


Standardize & improve: maintain recipe cards, station guides, and class checklists; propose tweaks that elevate clarity, flavor, and guest enjoyment.


Coordinate with the FOH team on service cues, tastings, and wine introductions so kitchen and floor feel seamless.


Prep & reset efficiently: manage the class pantry, tools, and consumables; optimize yields and reduce waste.


What You Bring
2+ years of professional kitchen experience (teaching/demo or guest-facing cooking is a plus).


Fluent English (B2/C1 min.); Portuguese is a plus. Basic Spanish essential.


Clear, engaging public-speaking and coaching skills; you’re patient, encouraging, and precise.


Solid fundamentals: knife skills, doughs/fillings, emulsions/sauces; grill/asado familiarity is a plus.


Proactive, organized, detail-oriented; calm under pressure and great at pacing a live class.


Team mindset and crisp communication (Google Workspace for SOPs, checklists, calendars).
